Friends in Adversity

We could all learn from these words of wisdom. Learn to value those who are and always will be there for us, rather than those who only come around when times are good. Because In the end, they're the only ones that matter. Forget those who are only with you when the sun is shining, they don't deserve it, and make more time for those who stand by you even on a cloudy day.

Ulysses S. Grant

Ulysses S. Grant, born Hiram Ulysses Grant, was born on April 27, 1822 to parents Jesse Root Grant and Julia Boggs Dent. Grant was a highly successful general during the Civil War and then later, became the 18th president of the United States. Ulysses proved to be a great, fundamental American and contributed to America as a whole because, without Grant, America probably wouldn't exist or at least stand as one. He worked hard to unite the states.
